College Panhellenic Council
Since the founding of Kappa Delta, Longwood's first sorority in 1897, Longwood has flourished with Greek Life. Longwood has four Alpha Chapters: Kappa Delta, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Zeta Tau Alpha, and Alpha Sigma Alpha, also known as the Farmville Four. Not only does Longwood have four Alpha Chapters, it also has five other amazing sororities: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Sigma Tau, Sigma Kappa, and Alpha Beta Psi.
The College Panhellenic Council is the Collegiate subsidy of the National Panhellenic Council, NPC. NPC is the national governing body for 26 national and international social sororities.
